Dr. Candace Newberry

MBChB MAMed FRACGP DCH 

Dr. Candace Newberry graduated from Manchester University and did GP training in Bournemouth UK.

She has been a GP in Sydney for over 30 years. She has a Diploma in Child Health and a Master of Advanced Medicine from Macquarie University.

Candace enjoys all aspects of General Practice and the variety it brings to each day. She has special interests in women’s and children’s health, preventive health care and mental health care. All patients are welcome.

She is accredited for the care of pregnant women wishing to have their baby at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.

Outside medicine, Candace enjoys bushwalking, swimming, cycling and sewing.

Areas of interest include:

·   Shared antenatal care

·   Paediatric Health

·   Preventative health

·   Mental health

Dr. Newberry works as an independent practitioner consulting at the Leichhardt General Practice.
