Mum – I wet the bed again!!!
Bed wetting is embarrassing and frustrating but common and not usually a cause for concern. However, it is important for parents to understand what is happening and what we can do about it.
Firstly, we need to make sure that there is nothing medically causing the bed wetting and then we can start to manage it but not before the age of 7 years. Alarms are the best way forward.

Pelvic Congestion Syndrome: An uncommon cause of Pelvic Pain
What if you have chronic pelvic pain and you don’t have endometriosis? OR. what if you have endometriosis but the endometriosis treatments are not working for you?
Is it possible that there is another less common cause of your pelvic pain?
Maybe it is pelvic congestion syndrome, a condition a bit like having varicose veins around your ovaries and uterus. It is thought to be caused by failure of the valves in the uterine veins to stop backflow of blood. This in turn allows the backflow of blood in the pelvis causing the veins to swell and twist into grape like structures much like hemorrhoids around your ovaries and uterus. This can be extremely painful.

Seriously, what is the deal with Prostate Cancer Screening: Do we do it or not?
Over the past few years there has been a lot of confusion over whether or not men over the age of 50 years should get a PSA blood test done. Current evidence shows that a PSA test does help assess the risk of prostate cancer but men should not do it unless they have discussed the risks and benefits of the test with their doctor. It is particularly important to consider doing this test if you have a life expectancy of 10 years or more, you have a family history of prostate cancer, you have a family history of the breast cancer gene or you have a high risk ethnicity such as Caribbean or African-American.
What is an End-of-Life Doula?

What is Chrono-Nutrition? Is it the key to my weight loss ?
Time restricted eating is eating in time with your body’s Circadian rhythm or natural sleep-wake cycle. There is good evidence to suggest that limiting food intake to the 8-12 hours of your body’s natural wake time and consuming the majority of your calories earlier in the day reduces weight independant of what you eat and how much you eat. There is also evidence that this way of eating reduces your risk of chronic diseases, improves immunity, sleep quality, mood and longevity.
