Dr. Emma Skowronski

MBBS (USyd) FRACGP DCH DRANZCOG​

Dr. Emma Skowronski is a GP with an interest in child health, mental health, women's health and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health.

She trained at Sydney University and did her early training in and around Canberra. She pursued diplomas in child health and obstetrics and gynaecology before starting her general practice training. As well as mainstream general practice she worked part time at Hand at the Alexander Machonochie Centre (Canberra's gaol).

Emma spent two years working in a remote community in Arnhem Land. She moved back to Sydney in 2021. In addition to Leichhardt General Practice, Emma also works at the Balmain Hospital's General Practice Casualty. Emma has long been concerned about environmental degradation and its impact on human health so has been involved with Doctors for the Environment and the Climate and Health Alliance since 2016.

Dr. Skowronski is an independent practitioner consulting at the Leichhardt General Practice.
